While traversing Georgia, we stumbled upon a dilapidated Soviet-era school, abandoned and in disrepair. Upon our return to Tbilisi after a week, we were astounded to find the building razed to the ground. Its sudden demolition after decades of vacancy served as a poignant realization of the rapid pace of transformation in these cities, characterized by the swift reconstruction and reshaping of national identity. Amidst the flattened demolition site, workers were gathering and discarding various objects, including this plaster nose.
